Wade (admin & Greatoutsmores author) sent me this one over the weekend, and was something I thought about trying to do a few months ago. Then I remembered… I don’t know the first thing about web programming, marketing, and I don’t have any money to market that kind of thing. I guess that’s why I blog here, instead of my own domain name. At any rate, Outdoorzy seems to be gaining a foothold in the social networking niche, and appears to have an active and vibrant community. It caters to all sorts of outdoors activities, allows people to upload trip reports, and find people interested in the same activities. Kudos to them.

Thanks for the mention. We are working very hard to continually add value to the site through new features. We will be adding a “Groups” section soon and are designing a map feature as well. A video section isn’t far off either.
We also just worked out a deal with Moosejaw.com that gets Outdoorzy members 15% off over there.
