One of my favorite adventure races to compete in is “The Fig” that is held at Red River Gorge, in Daniel Boone National Forest. It is a 12 hour race that covers close to 60 miles.

I am currently making plans to climb Mount Rainer at the end of June 2008. I have climbed several 14er’s but this will be my first true technical climb. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or suggestions about making plans?
