Sounds like days I've had when they don't bite on spinnerbaits. Downsizing to the Strike King Mini King will draw a few out for me on those days. Almost every day on the water here consists of big wind gusts and clear skies. I don't risk it getting tossed around in a canoe, although I've been blown around in a pedal boat. Loads of fun. Honest. Better a man overboard who can swim back than gear gone overboard that sinks straight to the bottom.
