Sorry about the email problems, some email is getting through and some isn't for an inexplicable reason. I've set the contact form to send to my work email, so hopefully it will work fine now. Italy was absolutely great, except Venice which left much to be desired. I'll post a few articles about the trip once time permits. My vision for the site is to give outdoors folks from all backgrounds a place to share their travels, passions, and insights. With so much material spread across wordpress, blogger, forums, and social networking sites, I thought it might be a great idea to set up a blog hosting site geared towards these pursuits. Hopefully it will be a great place for average joes to share stories of their trips and also a place for guides to highlight what they do best. I'll keep you posted as the community grows. I don't have any specific hikes to try in the areas you'll be visiting, but you might want to check out Besthike.com to see if they have suggestions or drop Rick McCharles an e-mail over there asking for suggestions.
