Kraig, thanks so much for the feedback. Sorry about the email problems, some email is getting through and some isn't for an inexplicable reason. I've set the contact form to send to my work email, so hopefully it will work fine now.

Italy was absolutely great, except Venice which left much to be desired. I'll post a few articles about the trip once time permits.

My vision for the site is to give outdoors folks from all backgrounds a place to share their travels, passions, and insights. With so much material spread across wordpress, blogger, forums, and social networking sites, I thought it might be a great idea to set up a blog hosting site geared towards these pursuits. Hopefully it will be a great place for average joes to share stories of their trips and also a place for guides to highlight what they do best. I'll keep you posted as the community grows.

Thanks again!

Wade,

I've been trying to send you an e-mail the past day or so, but for some reason it keeps having problems delivering to you. So, I'll post my e-mail here for now until you can resolve the issue. So, here goes:

Hi Wade,

I'm going to try this again, but last night I tried to respond to your e-mail and there was an issue with your e-mail address not resolving properly. Hopefully it's working find today!

Anyway, I had a chance to look over your blog and it looks great. Very clean, professional, and well designed, with good content already in place, I like your photos and topics so far and think that you've got a nice space laid out on your site. I would also very much like to hear your plans for where you would like to take your site. I'm always interested in what fellow bloggers are doing, and what their vision for their blog/site is. I know you're heading out to Italy soon, but when you get the chance, I would definitely like to hear more.

I'm quite jealous of your trip by the way. I haven't been to Europe yet, but I've had the Wanderlust something awful since my return from Africa in April. I don't have any specific hikes to try in the areas you'll be visiting, but you might want to check out Besthike.com to see if they have suggestions or drop Rick McCharles an e-mail over there asking for suggestions. He's a great resource, although he may be in Alaska right now and unable to answer you in a timely manner.

Anyway, enjoy the trip, and drop me a note when you get the chance. I'm always happy to chat and bounce ideas off one another. Welcome to the community! :)
