Endurance cycling master, Jure Robic was killed Friday near his home in Slovenia. He won the RAAM (Race Across American) five times, including 2010. Jure was covered in many publications including the New York Times, and attributed his success not only to his physical feats, but also his mental temerity. He was 45 years old.

Do you know about these guys – the Giri Giri Boys? They are an unofficial club of prolific Japanese climbers, and they tackle some of biggest mountains out there. If anyone is interested in international mountaineering on mountains, then keep track of theses guys.
That brings me to a point… I wouldn’t mind it if they had a website, I need faces. I have such a tough time with (Japanese) names. My Americanism defaults everything to Yamaguchi. It’s like a bunch of John Smiths, or more like John Smyth, John Smithe……..(clink link above)
